Location Airport Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service Yes Minimum Rate 38767.20 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 71922.39 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of secretarial or related word processing experience are required. Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment. Recruitment Notes This is an advanced responsible secretarial and related clerical work for a division head or an exempt executive official in the County service. The incumbent will perform a variety of secretarial duties requiring considerable knowledge of the responsibilities and an understanding of the policies, programs, procedures, and regulations in effect in the department. Duties consist of general secretarial work including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, receiving and screening phone calls, filing, data entry and handling correspondence, typing letters, memorandums, activity reports, work orders, service orders, etc., establishing and maintaining the office electronic filing system reorganizing and/or purging files as required and in adherence to the Records and Retention Rules and Procedures.
