Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a Honeywell Vindicator Alarm Programmer/Sys Admin to join the team in Panama City, Florida immediately. This is an on-site role, and will require the ability to get a government security clearance. You will be the Technical SME for Honeywell Vindicator access control and intrusion detection systems. You will sit in a lab setting and work on pre-programming panels and devices that will be installed by technicians on base. You will also be responsible for the testing of the equipment and devices prior to install and on-site.

Vacation:
3 weeks of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 3 floating holidays and 10 standard holidays per calendar year (6.5 weeks in total).
Travel:
Up to 25% supporting other project sites at times. All travel related expenses are paid for by the company.
  •  Act as an on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete Electronic Security projects (access controls, intrusion detection, CCTV cameras, etc) with assigned customers in a safe and cost effective manner, primarily working with the Vindicator for the access controls (ACU) and Intrusion Detection (IDS)
  •  Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects including: system programming, integration, installation coordination, system and network commissioning and project closeout
  •  Assists with developing project plans and coordinates the required resources to ensure timely and cost effective installation and completion of assigned projects.
  •  Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as necessary
  •  Completes typical installation of hardware design and software programming using established standards as required.
  •  Manages and completes the loading, device verification, and commissioning of system controllers as required. Validates complete system functionality and resolves issues with subcontractors and others to ensure proper operation. Provides accurate project as-built and commissioning documentation
  •  Ensures work performed is in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements, and ensures Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards.
