Front Office Assistant - Pediatric Medical Facility (PPEC) Tampa, FL About Us Learning Tree PPEC is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facility dedicated to providing compassionate, skilled nursing care and developmental support for medically complex children in a nurturing, family-centered environment. Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients, families, and visitors. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting daily administrative operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients, families, and visitors in a warm and professional manner Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation Coordinate communication between staff, therapists, and families Manage scheduling, attendance logs, and front desk workflow Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with general administrative tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous receptionist or administrative experience (preferred) Experience in a healthcare or pediatric setting is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office a plus) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Work Environment Pediatric medical facility (PPEC) serving children with complex medical needs Team-oriented, supportive atmosphere Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Benefits (if applicable) Competitive pay Paid time off If you are a compassionate and dedicated person who wants to make a difference in the lives of children and their families, we would love to meet you!
