Job Description

Position Overview Good Health Clinic is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare access for Florida Keys residents in need. Celebrating over 20 years of mission driven service, the organization is built on compassion, integrity, and collaboration. The Program and Operations Manager reports to and works closely with the Executive Director and is responsible for the day-to-day operations within Good Health Clinic. It serves as a central point of coordination within the organization and with select community partners. This role manages support staff, technology and software systems, inventory and workflows, vendor coordination, compliance-related functions, and supports health-related programs. The ideal candidate is already a strong team leader or is on the path to becoming one. Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Oversee daily clinic operations, including bills, vendors, office technology and software, supplies, and general administrative needs. Maintain organized workflows and provide operational problem-solving and follow-through. Staff Management and Coordination Coordinate with medical providers to support patient care operations, patient flow, coverage, and clinic communication. Supervise clinical support staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, task management, and performance support. Ensure staff understand their roles, follow workflows, use required systems properly, and meet expectations. Help resolve operational barriers that affect provider efficiency, patient access, or quality of care. Coordinate clinic-wide schedules and internal meetings. Logistics Serve as the primary operational point person for EMR use, software systems and equipment. Monitor patient scheduling, documentation accuracy, and compliance with clinic and regulatory systems and policies. Train staff, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendor support when needed. Manage inventory and purchasing within approved budgets for medical, pharmaceutical, and general office inventory; including tracking, storage, and usage. Program and Data Support Work with the Executive Director on data collection, documentation, reporting, and execution of direct health care and community health programs. Support tracking of program deliverables, data collection, productivity measures, and documentation needed for reporting or audits. Compliance and Quality Support compliance with clinic policies, privacy practices, safety expectations, documentation standards, funding requirements, and healthcare-related operational standards. Identify operational risks, workflow gaps, and quality concerns, and escalate issues to the Executive Director as appropriate. Qualifications Leadership-level experience in healthcare, nonprofit programs, community health, business administration, or a related role. Strong skills in productivity tracking, technology systems, and software use. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and support compliance-related workflows. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data collection, documentation, and reporting. Experience with HR practices and team building. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Work Requirements and Benefits This is a full-time, on-site position based out of Tavernier with up to 3 days a month at the Marathon satellite office. Monday-Friday business hours, with occasional weekends and evenings required. Salary is competitive and based on experience and aptitude. Benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, and 401(k) match.
