Job Description

Assistant Administrator Titusville Towers Assisted Living Facility (120-Unit Assisted Living Facility) Titusville Towers Assisted Living Facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Administrator to support the daily operations, regulatory compliance, and overall success of our 120-unit Assisted Living Facility. This position works closely with the Administrator to ensure high-quality resident care, effective staff management, regulatory compliance, and efficient facility operations.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Assist the Administrator in the overall management and operation of Titusville Towers Assisted Living Facility. Serve as Administrator in the Administrator's absence and make operational decisions as needed. Support compliance with all applicable Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations, policies, procedures, and licensing requirements. Assist with preparation, organization, and submission of required state and regulatory reports. Participate in AHCA surveys, inspections, audits, and corrective action plans.
Oversee daily facility operations including:
Resident services Admissions and move-ins Resident transitions/discharges Dining services Housekeeping Transportation Activities Medication management coordination Emergency response procedures Assist with staff scheduling, coverage, performance management, and employee relations. Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, and evaluation of employees. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and outside agencies. Respond to resident and family concerns in a timely and professional manner. Monitor emergency systems, including the ER call system, and ensure proper follow-up. Assist with payroll processes, employee documentation, and administrative functions. Maintain accurate records and documentation required by facility policy and regulatory agencies. Work with families and appropriate parties regarding resident discharges, transfers, and vacating of units. Ensure facility policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven leadership or management experience in an assisted living, long-term care, healthcare, or related setting. Previous Assisted Living Facility management experience preferred. Knowledge of AHCA regulations and assisted living operations preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Valid Florida Driver's License required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred. Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, healthcare administration, or a related environment required. ALF Core Certification or willing to obtain certification.

Starting Salary:
