About the Opportunity Addison Group is hiring a Front Office Specialist on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire opportunity within a specialty healthcare practice. This role is ideal for an experienced front desk professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment and enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a positive front office experience Handle a high volume of inbound calls while assisting patients in person and maintaining professionalism Verify insurance coverage and coordinate necessary referrals prior to visits Schedule and confirm appointments, including conducting reminder outreach Accurately input and update patient demographic and insurance information Prepare charts and documentation in advance of appointments Support overall front office operations to ensure smooth daily workflow Requirements Minimum of 2+ years of front desk experience within a medical office setting Proven ability to manage both phone volume and in-person patient interactions simultaneously Strong preference for candidates with specialty clinic exposure (nephrology highly valued) Experience working with electronic health records systems (Epic experience preferred) Demonstrated job stability with consistent tenure in previous roles Professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment Eager to learn, take direction, and actively engage during training
Additional Details Schedule:
