In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to our probate attorneys, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of estate matters. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will contribute significantly to managing accurate records, and facilitating communication between attorneys, clients and the courts. Responsibilities Manage and organize all probate case files, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation. Coordinate court filings, document review, and other legal requirements. Assist with estate planning, estate administration, and related legal research to support attorneys' case preparation. Schedule appointments, client meetings, court appearances, and coordinate communication between clients, courts, and external agencies. Prepare legal documents in relation to probate filing and estate planning. Perform data entry tasks and maintain filing systems both electronically and physically. Provide executive administrative support by answering phones with professional etiquette, managing calendars efficiently, and assisting attorneys. Skills Extensive experience with probate functions including document review, legal drafting and proofreading. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in clerical tasks such as filing (both electronic and physical), data entry, phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and general office administration. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working within a law office environment providing legal administrative support in probate and estate planning.
Pay:
$24.00 - $29.00 per hour
