Description:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our pediatric dental team. This role is responsible for managing the front desk, supporting daily office operations, and providing excellent customer service to patients and families. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations Greet patients and families in a warm and professional manner Check patients in and out for appointments Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries Schedule and confirm patient appointments Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system Collect payments, co-pays, and balances Scheduling & Coordination Manage daily provider schedules efficiently Coordinate new patient appointments and follow-up visits Confirm appointments and handle cancellations or reschedules Work with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Insurance & Administrative Support Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Obtain necessary patient documentation and forms Assist with treatment plan presentation and financial discussions Maintain organized front office files and reports Team & Office Support Communicate with doctors, assistants, and office manager regarding schedule needs Support office goals related to patient satisfaction and productivi Help maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment Follow all company policies and HIPAA guidelinesRequirements:
Qualifications 1+ year of dental, medical, or front desk experience preferred Pediatric dental experience a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with children and families Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling systems Knowledge of dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred Skills & Competencies Friendly and professional demeanor Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Problem-solving ability Team-oriented attitude Reliable and punctualSimilar remote jobs
