Must be friendly, dependable, and have multitasking competence. The hours of the position are Monday through Thursday 10:00am through 6:00pm, Fridays 9:00am-5:00pm. These hours are fixed and cannot be changed.
FRONT OFFICE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Office Coordinator job responsibilities include: checking in and checking out patients, scheduling, insurance verification, answering telephones, scanning, faxing and other miscellaneous administrative tasks. Applicants should be team oriented, possess a positive and upbeat attitude and have a flexible and willing to work with the flow personality. Must be very computer savvy, including expertise with Microsoft Excel & Word. Must be highly organized and a stickler for details. If you are not a highly organized person, this job isn't for you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide quality patient care and service to our clients Answering the telephone Scheduling new and return patients Greeting and checking in clients Processing payments Calculate patient balances to ensure payment is received at the time of service Enter patient information accurately into electronic scheduling system Verify insurance benefits prior to patient arrival Actively work with the clinicians to fill open/cancellation spots Sanitization of workspace environment
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma Excellent verbal and written communication - for exemplary customer service. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Windows environment, and strong keyboarding skills Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem solving are required to perform this role Demonstrated skills in problem solving, time management and adaptable to a changing environment Must be willing to help in all areas, have flexibility and effectively work in a team environment Comfort around children and a calm demeanor is a must Prior front office, office management, and/or reception experience
