•This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,560 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.• Job Description The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the Water Resources Laboratory. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative support duties. Essential Duties Answer customer calls and handle associated paperwork. Non-contracted purchasing duties such as placing requests with vendors, receiving and distributing orders, vendor payments, and follow-up communication with vendors as needed. Submit contracted purchasing invoices. Maintain files for all purchasing documents. Answer the front gate and door. Assist with the maintenance and removal of older files. Other duties as needed. Hourly rate $30/hr up to 29 hours a week. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; AND Drivers license; AND Four years of administrative support or related office experience, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
