Job Description

Position Summary Joshua Christian Academy is seeking a Campus Office Specialist to support the daily operations of our school. This individual serves as a key point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors while helping ensure the smooth operation of the campus. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about Christian education.
Essential Responsibilities:
Front Office Operations Serve as the primary receptionist and first point of contact for visitors, students, families, and staff. Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries. Monitor building access and assist with visitor check-in procedures. Ensure the front office remains welcoming, organized, and professional. Student Support & Health Services Assist students with day-to-day needs while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Provide basic first aid and student care as permitted by school policy. Administer medications to students in accordance with school policies and required training. Maintain accurate medication logs and student health records. Communicate with parents and administration regarding student health concerns when appropriate. Administrative Support Maintain student records, cumulative files, attendance records, and other required documentation. Assist with enrollment, registration, and student information systems. Process tuition payments, uniform orders, and other school transactions as assigned. Assist with data entry, filing, copying, mail distribution, and general office tasks. Maintain inventory of office and school supplies. Family & School Communication Assist with parent communications, newsletters, announcements, and school-wide notices. Serve as a helpful and welcoming resource for families. Support communication efforts related to school events, activities, and programs. Campus Operations Support Support the Campus Director and school leadership with daily operational needs. Assist teachers with administrative and classroom support as needed. Help coordinate field trips, special events, assessments, and school activities. Maintain transportation schedules and other operational records as assigned. Recruit and coordinate volunteers as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
