Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking two dynamic and highly organized Administrative Assistants to join our team! These roles involve providing exceptional administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office environment. The ideal candidates will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. You will handle a variety of clerical tasks including gathering information for new contractors, processing monthly contractor reports, helping to manage front desk responsibilities, sign travelers to out-of-work books, conduct orientations with new apprentices and track organized members, and support office management functions, among other day-to-day tasks. Bilingual abilities and strong computer literacy are highly valued to enhance our diverse team and streamline daily operations. These paid positions offer an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a vibrant workplace. Duties vary between positions but include: Greet visitors and manage the front desk with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression Operate multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries, route calls efficiently, and provide exceptional customer service Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry, and ensure accurate record-keeping using Labor Power, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools Support bookkeeping tasks including weekly and month-end deposits and taking dues payments in person and via phone Handle new contractor inquiries and membership changes Experience Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar clerical or office support role Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and data entry applications Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated customer service expertise with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Bilingual capabilities are preferred to serve a diverse client base effectively Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and data entry tasks Join us in our office environment to be an essential part of our team! Pay:
$25.20 - $28.00 per hour
