Up to $57.60 per hour Lead. Coach. Grow. Build a High‑Performing Personal Training Program. LA Fitness is seeking a driven and leadership‑minded Assistant Personal Training Director to help expand and elevate our training department. This role is designed for fitness professionals who excel at both coaching clients and developing other trainers—while building a thriving PT program within their first 2 to 60 days. Your Core Responsibilities1. Build and Grow Your Client Base You'll be responsible for actively generating new clients through: Member engagement and floor presence Fitness assessments and consultations Delivering high‑quality, results‑driven training sessions Creating a positive, motivating experience that keeps clients coming back Your goal: establish a strong, consistent client roster quickly—ideally within your first 2 weeks. 2. Coach and Develop Personal Trainers As a leader on the training team, you will: Mentor new and existing trainers Teach effective training techniques, communication skills, and client‑retention strategies Model professionalism and high‑level service Help trainers improve session quality, confidence, and sales performance Your leadership directly shapes the success of the entire PT department. 3. Launch and Manage Your Own PT Program (Within 2-60 Days) You'll operate your own training program inside the LA Fitness framework, including: Designing structured training plans Managing client progress and retention Supporting company standards while maintaining your unique coaching style Collaborating with the Personal Training Director and fitness staff Ensuring the program grows steadily and sustainably This role blends hands‑on training with business ownership—giving you the freedom to build something meaningful while benefiting from LA Fitness' established brand and member base.
