Front Office Coordinator Opportunity with Kids Unlimited Therapy Services This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 6 months, supporting the team during a leave of absence. Kids Unlimited Therapy Services is seeking a Full-Time Front Office Coordinator to support the day-to-day flow of our pediatric therapy practice in Oak Park, Illinois. At Kids Unlimited, we provide high-quality pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapy in a nurturing, fun-filled, child-centered environment. Our team works closely with children, families, and schools to help each child build confidence, develop skills, and reach their full potential. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism - whether in person or by phone Own the check-in/check-out process including collecting co-pays Manage scheduling, cancellations, and appointment flow Handle patient registration and maintain accurate records Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and referral sources Help keep front office operations organized, efficient, and family-friendly Track insurance claims, denials, and follow-ups Support overall front office operations and clinic efficiency
Qualifications:
What Else You Bring to This Role High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of front desk, medical office, or customer service experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Physical therapy or outpatient medical setting EMR or scheduling software experience This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 6 months, supporting the team during a leave of absence.
