Job Description
Assists with timely and accurate receipt and distribution of incoming/outgoing mail and packages; photocopy/printing and distribution as instructed using Toshia/Papercut (or current system). Assist with Workday Fixed Asset tags assignment and assure accuracy of shipping documents/verification of receiving receipts with open orders.
Pay:
$17.26 per hour Work hours: 5 hours per day Monday-Friday; 10am - 3pm. Occasional variance required to accommodate department vacation schedules or other staffing needs.
Essential Functions:
Assist with preparation/delivery of outgoing and incoming mail, paper supplies, books and equipment and maintain related records. This includes all classes of mail, UPS and freight shipments. Update receiving logs in SCLogic (or similar software program) and process reports as needed for incoming/outgoing equipment, materials, supplies and parts. Verify the accuracy of shipments received, and deliver to appropriate departments Sort and distribute mail to main and other campus locations In partnership with the college leased bookstore vendor, assist with delivery of books & merchandise utilizing the Coliseum Campus loading dock area. Assist with operation and maintaining printing equipment, using Toshiba Papercut or similar software program Assist in maintaining accurate printing records and confidentiality in accordance with college policy Assist with campus wide confidential document shredding with outside vendor Assist with fixed asset tag implementation to assigned equipment and complete required paperwork Assist with maintaining storage of regional records in conjunction with the Director of Finance & Business Services and assists with disposal of records in accordance with retention policies. Maintain adequate internal controls and ensure compliance with Ivy Tech Community College policies and procedures Provide exceptional customer service to both our internal and external customers

Minimum Job Requirements:
(education, experience and skills) High School Diploma required; equivalent in work experience a plus Valid driver's license required and must be able to pass the qualifications to become a college eligible driver Must be proficient on personal computers and Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions. Ability to operate a forklift, hand tools, and equipment used in the department. Ability to exercise basic human relations skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations within the Ivy Tech Community. Preferable knowledge and experience in shipping/receiving areas and printing/copy equipment
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift, push or pull up to 70 pounds May be exposed to chemical, mechanical or electrical hazard May be exposed to dusts, fumes or odoriferous working conditions
