  • Any member of the Indiana Air Nional Guard, traditional DSG, and AGR Duties Help Ensures internal systems and procedures for carrying out the organizion's administrive functions meet the requirements of balancing costs, benefits, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Inities, plans, directs, and/or participes in special studies and projects in areas such as; resource utilizion, personnel management, logistical support, knowledge management, readiness programs, etc. Represents the Wing in meetings with congressional, ste and local officials, special interest and business group spokespersons to market and advertise ANG programs, activities, and requirements to gain support for ANG missions. Collabores and consults with Wing Public Affairs Officer (PAO), drafts, develops, and finalizes narrive, prepares and coordines news releases with Ste JFHQ to support communicion . Performs as the historian, responsible to ensure timely, complete and accure capture and caloging of significant historical da, and generion of required reports. Prepares the annual historical summary for submission to higher headquarters. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Nional Guard Membership is required. This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently a member of the Nional Guard must be eligible for immedie membership and employment in the Nional Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. This position requires military membership, compible unit and Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) assignments, and the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance level which is based on the position security access requirement. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle and if so, an approprie valid driver's license is required. This position may be designed mission essential based on local conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
: Experience, educion or training in managing or directing, one or more programs, including approprie supporting service organizions. Supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work experience and/or training which has provided knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques. Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Experience, educion or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, ghering pertinent da and recognizing solutions. Experience preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence. Experience evaluing objectives and develop plans to facilite the availability and effective utilizion of various resources. Experience utilizing the organizion, its mission and the organizional staff procedures. Experience using quantitive and qualitive techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of administrive and technical programs. Experience developing the mission and work processes of programs throughout the military organizion and multi-level agencies. Experience in analytical and investigive techniques. Must have 12 months specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade level. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
