Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with administrative duties in all areas of basic office administration, including scanning and filing of the received documents, corresponding and communication with reporting facilities, assigning physician/clinic numbers, documenting correspondence notes in database, ordering supplies and updating KCR related contact information.

Job Duties:
Process mail received for scanning. Scan documents manually or electronically into ImageNow Perceptive Content Software Download Secure File Transfer file submissions and send receipt confirmations. Download faxes received electronically. Assign physician/clinic numbers and respond back to reporting facilities. Respond to KCR related email. Input return receipts, SFT Download emails, phone conversations and other emails with important information into ACT database. Answer/transfer phone calls and assist callers with their requests. Prepare documents to shred. Send Vital Statistics and quarterly reports via SFT to reporting facilities. Verify facility list to send to Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Request updated Contact Information forms from all hospitals, physician/clinics, pathology labs, surgery centers and radiation clinics. Order office supplies. Contact facilities by email or phone as needed or directed. Send file submission reminders. Assist with Annual Spring meeting. Work Experience:
Two (2) years relevant experience. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
