Hiring Agency Justice & Public Safety Cabinet | Department of Juvenile Justice Location 3179 State Route 45 South Mayfield, KY 40266 USA Description The Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice is a multi-faceted agency that serves juveniles of the Commonwealth. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Plans, develops, recommends and administers a major program area for the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), specifically, juvenile reentry programming on a state-wide basis. Develops policy, procedures regarding juvenile reentry, collaborate with agency and stakeholders. Collects and analyzes data and produces reports for the stakeholders and agency. Performs other duties as assigned. Develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures related to juvenile re-entry on a statewide basis. Develops individual youth case plans, conducts screenings to identify individual youth needs. Develops, prepares and/or recommends approval of departmental documentation and program forms collaboratively with agency stakeholders and workgroups. Attends youth multi-disciplinary team meetings, Conducts program monitoring. Provides continued case support to youth and families in conjunction to aftercare services. Provides technical assistance on a state-wide basis, regarding data collection and dissemination of information. Conducts policy research analysis and compiles related data regarding youth and programming for stakeholders and workgroups. Reports on the impact of legislative, financial and policy changes for programming to DJJ Executive Staff as needed. Completes and participates in special projects for division director and managers as needed. Attend work groups, committees, training and meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum RequirementsEDUCATION
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS
Four years of professional experience in any operation or program within the field of corrections, juvenile justice, criminal justice, law enforcement, recreation, academic or vocational education, health services or education, dietary or food management, construction project management, social work, or a related field.
