Full-Time, Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and mission-driven Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the daily operations of an organization dedicated to helping individuals and families facing problem gambling, substance use, and life crises. Beyond administrative duties, this position plays a key role in ensuring that those who reach out for help are met with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by making a meaningful impact in the community. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Human Resources Director, and other department Directors in a mission-focused environment. Serve as a first point of contact by managing calls, mail, emails, and inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and discretion. Collaborate with Operations to support 988 Chat/Text services , helping ensure individuals in need are connected to appropriate resources. Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment, including: Managing office supply inventory and placing orders as needed. Keeping storage areas clean and organized. Coordinating maintenance of office equipment. Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all data security policies. Support staff in day-to-day operations that directly contribute to client care and program success. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, social services, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or support role. Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, call center, or customer service environment is strongly preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and compassionate tone. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva, and other office software. Ability to learn call center or helpline systems. High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Passion for nonprofit work and helping underserved or vulnerable populations. Personable, team-oriented, and service-driven mindset. Ability to remain focused on the mission while remaining calm, professional, and empathetic in high-pressure or sensitive situations.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Schedule:
