Job Description

WESTAFF is seeking a Secretary Specialist for a company located in Lafayette, LA. •This is a temporary position lasting 680 hours•
Hours:
Monday- Friday (25 hours a week) 7:30am- 12:30pm
Pay:
$13.57/Hour The qualified individual will work part-time completing daily administrative tasks and quality assurance measures of the project. This individual should demonstrate solid organizational skills, attention to detail, good oral and written communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines under pressure. This individual should be a problem-solver, self-starter, and work collaboratively with staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily phone calls including troubleshooting with CLASS observers, verifying site level information and corresponding to Lead Agencies. Help check the main CLASS email account throughout the day (make schedule changes, send observation orders, correspond with observers and/or sites). Check-in mail (observation booklets and documentation). Prepare and mail observation booklets. Review the accuracy of data entered into the LDE's Early Childhood Portal and cross-check with observation booklets. Receive and record observer billing (ensure observers enter data into EC portal, mail in booklet(s) with all information received). Scan and prepare observation booklets for review (data checks, appeals, etc.). Attend staff meetings and take notes, as needed. Provide support to the Project Director Early Childhood team as needed.
