Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) Location Boston, MA 2110 Date Posted May 15, 2026 Job ID 14602 Employment Type Contract Pay rate $20/hour Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Administrative Assistant for a mission-driven public policy and legal organization based in Boston, Massachusetts. This is an exciting temporary opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented administrative professional seeking flexible part-time hours while supporting a collaborative leadership team.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This role will provide direct administrative and organizational support to a small leadership team focused on legal foundation and operational initiatives. The Administrative Assistant will support scheduling, calendar coordination, office organization, and general administrative operations while helping maintain efficient day-to-day workflow across the organization. This is a part-time onsite opportunity expected to run through late June with potential for extension. The organization prefers onsite support on Wednesdays and Thursdays but is open to working around the selected candidate's schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to leadership and operations teams Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling logistics Support office coordination and organizational projects Assist with event and meeting preparation Maintain organized records, files, and documentation Support general administrative and operational needs as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior administrative support or administrative assistant experience required Strong scheduling and calendar coordination skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint Excellent organizational and communication abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently Experience supporting small teams or executives strongly preferred

$20/hour Part-time temporary/contract opportunity Approximately 16-20 hours per week Business casual office environment Potential opportunity for assignment extension
