Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping administrative processes organized, assisting visitors and callers, and ensuring information is entered accurately. The role calls for strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of clerical tasks in an organized office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front-desk activities by greeting visitors, directing inquiries, and creating a welcoming first impression for the office.
- Respond to incoming phone calls promptly, provide accurate information, and route messages or requests to the appropriate team members.
- Perform a range of clerical support tasks, including filing, document preparation, scheduling, and maintaining organized office records.
- Enter and update data with a high degree of accuracy to support reporting, tracking, and day-to-day administrative functions.
- Coordinate general office support activities to help maintain efficient workflow and ensure routine administrative needs are addressed.
- Assist with receptionist-related duties such as monitoring shared communications, handling basic correspondence, and supporting office visitors as needed. Requirements
- Experience providing administrative support in an office environment.
- Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts.
- Proficiency in data entry with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing front-desk or receptionist responsibilities in a busy setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with standard office procedures and general clerical responsibilities.
