Administrative Specialist 1 | Limited Duration The Department of Administrative Services ('DAS') is the central administrative agency that leads state government to implement the policy and budget decisions of the Governor and Oregon Legislature. Employing an enterprise-wide perspective, DAS serves state government by developing and upholding accountability standards to ensure productive and efficient use of state government's financial, human and information resources. Enterprise Information Services (EIS) is a state government-wide Information Technology (IT) program led by an administrator who also serves as Oregon's Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Administrative Specialist is with the Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Data Center Services (DCS) Administration team. Under the supervision of the office manager, you will assist with a variety of detailed and confidential program, operational and administrative duties and activities supporting EIS Staff. Position duties and responsibilities at a glance: Represent EIS as an information resource at the reception desk. Ensure office procedures operate smoothly and efficiently, providing a wide range of administrative assistance to staff. Assists as a travel, training and onboarding coordinator. Facilitator for division meetings, providing scheduling, minutes and logistics coordination as requested. •This opportunity is expected to last approximately one year, with the possibility of being extended based on Agency need and budget approval. • For a full review of the position duties, details, and working conditions, please click here.
What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience.

$3,798.00 to $5,193.00 per Month
