6 Waltham, MA Job Details Seasonal $21 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Paid training Paid orientation Qualifications Phone communication Student record keeping Greeting customers Administrative experience Clerical experience Entry level Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description 2026 Summer Clerical and Family Support Liaisons Summer Clerical and Family Support Liaisons are needed to provide essential administrative and community-facing support for the 2026 Summer Programs at Kennedy, McDevitt, Plympton, Northeast, Stanley, and Whittemore. Responsibilities The Summer Clerical and Family Support Liaison serves as the "front door" of the summer program, ensuring both logistical efficiency and a welcoming environment for our community.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative Support:
Support the management of student attendance records, assist with staff timesheets, and handle photocopying and material preparation for program staff.
Family Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk; warmly greet families during daily drop-off and pick-up transitions.
Communication:
Respond to phone calls and parent requests promptly and professionally.
Onsite Support:
Arrive early and remain after dismissal to assist with the flow of early drop-offs and late pick-ups.
Site Collaboration:
Work closely with the Site Coordinator to provide onsite operational support as needed to ensure the program runs smoothly.
Culture Building:
Maintain a positive, helpful, and welcoming tone to support a sense of belonging for all students and their caregivers. Focus of the Site and Operations Programs at each site will be open to students entering grades 1-5 for elementary and grades 6-8 for Middle Schools. All students will be engaged in a variety of daily directed and independent literacy and math activities that support learning and build skills. Students who qualify as English Learners will be supported through direct instruction focused on building students' academic and social language K-8. Some sites may house ESY programs, as well. The Liaison ensures that the administrative backbone of these programs is strong so that instruction and engagement remain the priority.

Kennedy, McDevitt, Plympton, Northeast, Stanley, and Whittemore.
Terms of Employment:
  • Program Dates:
    July 6, 2026
  • August 6, 2026 (20 days total).
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday.
  • Daily Hours:
  • Elementary:
    8:15 am
  • 12:45 pm
  • Middle:
    7:15
  • 12:15 This includes 15 minutes of prep/early drop-off support and 15 minutes of post-program/late pick-up support.
Training:
Liaisons will be required to participate in one (1) hour of paid orientation/training prior to the start of the summer program.
  • Compensation
  • Elementary:
    Up to $1911 total. (Based on $21.00 per hour for 91 total hours: 4.5 hours/day x 20 days + 1 hour of orientation).
Middle:
Up to $2,121.00 total. (Based on $21.00 per hour for 101 total hours: 5 hours/day x 20 days + 1 hour of orientation).
