Role Description Lithko Contracting is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a dynamic construction business unit by executing payroll-related processes, maintaining coworker records, and coordinating administrative activities across the office and field. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for executing payroll-related administrative processes, maintaining coworker records, and supporting office and operational activities for a Business Unit. This role engages with Project/Field Leads, Business Unit Leadership, and coworkers to coordinate timekeeping, onboarding, and administrative workflows. This role is essential to provide the foundational administrative execution and data accuracy required to support field operations and coworker experience at the local level.Key Responsibilities Payroll and Timekeeping Execution:
Executes accurate and timely payroll processes through collection, validation, and entry of time and quantity data.Coworker Records and Compliance Administration:
Maintains coworker documentation and supports onboarding and compliance-related administrative processes.Office and Location Administrative Support:
Provides day-to-day administration for office operations, supplies, and general coordination of business unit activity.Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate administrative processes and resolve issues. Qualifications 1+ year of administrative experience with exposure to payroll or timekeeping processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience working within administrative systems such as ADP or similar platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with limited direction. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Working knowledge of payroll practices including overtime rules, withholding, and general compliance requirements. Experience supporting construction, field operations, or similar fast-paced environments. Familiarity with onboarding processes and employment documentation (I-9, E-Verify).
