Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Operations & Maintenance Services at a Federal Facility in Laurel, MD. The Administrative Assistant will support the Project Management Team and Office Administrator with service request intake, work order entry into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), receipt of service calls, customer interface, and generation of reports, to name a few. Key Responsibilities As the administrative assistant, you will work with the Project Management Office and our Office Administrator on site to provide customer service and administrative support. Some of your duties include but are not limited to the following: Assist the Project Manager, Deputy PM, and Office Manager in all aspects of project implementation as needed. Provide service order intake support, including data entry and distribution. Support maintenance and organization of contract's central files, information, filing, and messages. Support site access and badging process for our team. Provide administrative support to the Facilities team. Support site activities as needed. Performing other duties as required or directed by management. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration and customer service support. High School Diploma Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint Experience with work order or service ticket management systems is highly desirable Building management and Facility and Maintenance operations knowledge is a plus Candidates must be US Citizens and have the ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation. Having an existing background investigation (HSPD-12 clearance) is highly desirable Desirable Skills Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Responsibility for follow-up on actions based on various team projects. High organization skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Work independently without regular direct supervision. Must be a provider of excellent customer service
