About Us We are a growing family-owned pet care company operating two successful brands: Academy Dog Training by Haywood - specializing in professional training and daycare. Perry's Pet Boutique - offering pet boarding, grooming, and retail services. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care, training, and resources for dogs and their families. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to help streamline operations and support customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable engaging with customers across multiple channels. Responsibilities Manage calendars, scheduling, and client communications. Maintain organized client records, contracts, and payment tracking. Support lead generation by responding to inquiries from Thumbtack, website forms, and local marketing efforts. Assist with customer outreach and follow-ups to secure new bookings. Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns, including social media and email. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across training, daycare, grooming, and boarding. Qualifications Passion for animals and the pet care industry. 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication (verbal & written). Familiarity with Google Workspace, and scheduling platforms. Experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations a plus. Familiarity with ChatGPT.
