Job Description

Living Innovations is looking for a vibrant, motivated Community Living Coordinator to join our team and help adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) lead joyful, self-directed lives in the heart of their communities. You'll be the primary support for our Shared Living arrangements, ensuring these matches are thriving and that every individual feels safe, supported, and truly at home.
Responsibilities:
Conduct bi-monthly in-person home visits to provide support and ensure the quality of shared living services. Oversee and manage Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Collaborate with individuals with IDD, their families, and other professionals to develop individualized support plans. Advocate for individuals' needs and connect them with community resources. Motivate and support your DSP team to deliver exceptional care. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in social services, preferred Bachelor's degree required for Children's Services Coordinator One or more years of related experience Valid driver's license, vehicle registration and current vehicle insurance declaration Must pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations, policies Certifications will vary per state regulation and program needs

Ability to make well reasoned decisions, both independently and as part of a team Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information Ability to use effective communication skills with all stakeholders Ability manage, prioritize, and carry out multiple tasks Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with employees at all levels of the organization Must possess effective coping skills, such as flexibility in dealing with issues typical to a social service setting Ability to resolve or facilitate the resolution of complex problems
