Coloma Community Schools Intermediate School Building Secretary

Summary:
The Intermediate School Building Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to the School Principal, Staff and Students. This is a full-time position during the school year(10 months) that requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate staff members Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member Maintain the school calendar and schedule appointments Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports Maintain student records, including attendance and grades Assist with the coordination of school events and activities Order and maintain office supplies and equipment Provide support to the school administration as needed Coordinate sub teachers for vacancies Pupil Accountant / Student Attendance Special Education administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in an administrative role preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Preferred experience in Powerschool A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with staff members and students
