We are a premier, full-service landscaping and property management firm in Midland looking for a proactive Office Operations Assistant to keep our gears turning. If you love variety-from managing morning crew deployments to overseeing billing for a diverse client base-this is the role for you. Candidates must possess excellent MS Excel and Quickbooks knowledge and skills to be able to hit the ground running. ... In this position, you are the central hub of our daily operations. You will support both our extensive landscaping services and other business ventures. This is a high-energy role where no two days are the same, and your ability to multi-task will be the key to our collective success. This is a temp-hire opportunity once a reliable attendance record and positive work ethic has been demonstrated during a probationary period.
Hours:
7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Spring/Summer/Fall) and 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Winter).
Work Style:
We work through a paid lunch to ensure consistent office coverage (on-site kitchen amenities provided).
Responsibilities:
Host morning meetings with crews to distribute daily worksheets and coordinate schedules with our customers. Manage accounts receivable and monthly customer billing for over 1,000 clients. You?ll be responsible for preparing bank deposits and ensuring billing data (like yard square footage and service costs) is entered with high precision. Act as the professional face and voice of the company, handling three busy phone lines with poise and helpfulness. During the snow season, you?ll play a critical role in our "on-call" dispatch, communicating with employees and temporary staff during overnight hours to ensure our community stays safe and clear.
Skills:
Competency in Microsoft Word and general office tech (email, credit card processing). Excellent team mentality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. Candidates without these skills will not be considered. A track record of being punctual and focused.
