Or Associate degree in Accounting with work experience equivalent J ob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Manager-Assistant in Corporate Finance to join our team. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and books for the company Support the implementation and adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements across financial processes. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to ensure accurate financial projections. Conduct detailed account analysis, cost accounting, and profit & loss assessments to identify areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and communicate insights effectively to senior management. Collaborate on regulatory reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with local and international standards. Assist with corporate finance activities such as investment analysis, pricing strategies, and financial software management. Maintain Quickbooks financial records for the company Prepare and process quarterly billing and track timely collections Renew all company insurances and review bids for cost savings periodically Lead the work on the MRIC quarterly consulting team to see the due diligence reviews are completed timely Collect SEC compliance data and direct the completion of the SEC internal audit yearly Oversee the Financial Advisors CE requirements and uploading of the hours for license renewal Oversee the monthly custodian and trade confirms are saved and record retention compliance met Lead the completion of the yearly ADV filing for the firm with the SEC Maintain the CRM (Redtail) accuracy and updates on a continuous basis Maintain key subscriptions for company software and cloud services Monitor Employment compliance wall and OSHA bulletin board Assist with handouts, presentations, and quarterly newsletter Maintain office procedures and update as needed Compile marketing and advertising Assist in implementing new software for office efficiencies Complete Financial research to update files and compliance as needed Assist Financial Advisors in other duties as needed such as white papers, print orders, and client meetings Qualifications Proven experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial analysis roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance, and technical accounting standards. Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, statement preparation, and financial statement interpretation. Proficiency with financial software tools and advanced Excel skills for data analysis. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Solid understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and investment evaluation. Exceptional analytical skills coupled with strategic planning capabilities to support organizational growth initiatives.
