$17.31•19.47 No Driver's License Required. AA Degree; 3 years secretarial/administrative office experience; or a combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of tribal employment processes is required. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel experience. Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, databases and/or data entry and Microsoft Outlook is required. Ability to speak effectively to groups of people is desired. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Some travel may be required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Normal physical requirements Assists the TERO Officer with interviewing project candidates. Assists the TERO Officer with training on the TERO ordinance. Assists the TERO Officer with maintaining a contact list of employers operating on or near the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Assists the TERO Officer with maintaining a computerized database of applicants and skills, to include but not limited to data entry, database maintenance, and report writing or creation. Assists with information dissemination conferences. Assists with development of brochures, newsletters, etc.as requested. Assume responsibilities for scheduling the daily activities of the office by maintaining a calendar with deadlines, reports, meetings, business engagements, and appointments. Prepare outgoing materials for mailing, including registered/certified mail, Federal express, UPS, Postal express, etc. Reviews incoming mail and routes to the TERO Officer. Assists TERO Officer with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Answers phone calls, takes messages, screens and routes incoming calls. Assists the TERO officer with scheduling of meetings. Assists the TERO Officer with correspondence as requested. Maintain adequate office supplies, order supplies as necessary. Schedule travel arrangements for the staff; making sure proper approval is granted, prepare travel vouchers, advances, itineraries, reconcile travel reports and reimbursement of travel expenses as requested. Appropriate work attire required Must attend all mandatory department training courses. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area.
