Essential Job Functions:
Under the direction of an Assistant Principal, this position will prepare mailings, track attendance and discipline for assigned students, organize and plan large school events, prepare suspension letters, answer telephone, file, schedule appointments, maintain calendars, maintain accurate student records, as well as varied other school related tasks and duties.
Qualifications Required:
2+ years of experience in an office environment Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google apps Ability to function in a multi-tasking, deadline-oriented environment Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate effectively with tact, courtesy and discretion with staff, students and parents while maintaining confidentiality Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing Strong organizational skills Mobility to move in and around building
