  • $60,000 a year 2 hours ago Full Job Description A growing Kansas City construction company is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to add to their team and play an instrumental, hands-on role in supporting the Project Managers.
The Project Administrator will handle a variety of tasks that include: Oversee administrative tasks, enhance communication, and maintain comprehensive documentation for the assigned construction project Provide support in compiling detailed reports, developing project schedules, managing budgets, conducting progress reviews, processing billings, evaluating bids, handling change orders, preparing submittals, addressing Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring compliance, and organizing meeting agendas and notes. Take charge of managing the closeout documents, ensuring all project requirements are met before completion. Generate precise purchase orders for various projects, facilitating procurement processes. Establish and configure job setups within the project management systems, streamlining project initiation. Monitor and meticulously record project reports, providing insights into progress and performance. Coordinate and distribute comprehensive drawing and specification packages Schedule and facilitate meetings, preparing detailed agendas, and effectively recording, creating, and disseminating meeting minutes and important information. Regularly update and maintain logs, reports, and templates for the project, ensuring all documentation is current and easily accessible.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
3+ years of experience working as a project administrator for a Construction company Excellent Excel skills Experience using Google Docs Accuracy and attention to detail Adaptability, flexibility, multi-tasking and problem-solving
