POSITION SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Radiologic Technology Program. This role ensures efficient daily operations of the program by coordinating communications, maintaining records, supporting faculty and students, and assisting with accreditation and compliance requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support to the Program Director and faculty, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing calendars Serve as the primary point of contact for students, prospective applicants, clinical sites, and external stakeholders Maintain accurate student records, including admissions documents, health records, clinical requirements, and academic files Assist with student admissions processes, including application tracking, correspondence, and onboarding Coordinate clinical education logistics, including placement documentation, affiliation agreements, and compliance tracking Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and program documentation for accreditation and regulatory purposes Assist in organizing program events, orientations, advisory board meetings, and site visits Manage office supplies, equipment, and general office operations Ensure confidentiality and security of student and program records in compliance with institutional and legal standards Support program assessment activities by compiling data and assisting with outcomes tracking
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
