We develop innovative marine fuel-system solutions that enable boat propulsion and on-board power generation while significantly reducing pollution and operating costs. Our mission is to provide practical, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional marine fuels that benefit both boaters and the planet. Job Summary Blue Gas Marine is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily office operations with a focus on entry-level accounting, invoicing, and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. You will provide essential support to the CEO and Office Manager while contributing to our clean energy mission through reliable behind-the-scenes work. Responsibilities Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner Perform filing and maintain organized paper and digital records Assist with invoicing, data entry, and entry-level accounting/bookkeeping tasks Support scheduling, calendars, and appointment coordination Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels Assist with onboarding processes and general office support tasks Prepare documents using Microsoft Word and Excel Take direction and complete assigned tasks efficiently from the CEO and Office Manager Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including light cleaning as needed Document SOP and processes Required Skills & Experience Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively Prior experience with filing, answering phones, ordering supplies, invoicing, and scheduling Basic understanding of entry-level accounting or bookkeeping principles Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a professional demeanor What We Offer Opportunity to contribute to a meaningful clean energy mission Flexible part-time hours in a dynamic, growing company Supportive team environment with direct access to leadership Hands-on experience in a fast-paced administrative role If you are a reliable, organized team player who wants to support a company making a real environmental impact, we encourage you to apply.
