Job Description

Performs variety of secretarial duties in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the Director. High School Diploma or GED required with two years secretarial or clerical experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Diploma/Certification of completion of secretarial program is preferred. Computer skills are required. Knowledgeable in use of computers and other office equipment. Knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling required. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to solve problems and make decisions. Demonstrated organization and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Minimum 2 years' experience in a clerical position in a hospital setting or similar setting. Ability to multi-task. Previous experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database software programs are required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point) or office management software applications is required.
