Over 20,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online Administrative Assistant Description South College Asheville Campus is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join the team! The Administrative Assistant is a steward for students, employees, and visitors to the campus in addition to building and room access control, the person serves as the overall South College public ambassador.
Responsibilities:
Reception in Faculty Area Answer the telephone and email correspondence Direct calls to proper staff or faculty. Take/transfer messages. Receive and distribute student messages for emergencies only. Assist visitors - determine who they need to see and direct them to that person. Administrative Word Processing Produce special correspondence and projects for the Academic Programs Produce routine reports and projects for Academic Programs. Proofread documents as requested. Copy and distribute documents as requested. Computer/Data Entry Print lists/reports from CAMPUS as requested by faculty Assist faculty with test generation and other documents as necessary. General Clerical Sort and distribute interoffice mail to instructors. Assist with setting advising appointments for faculty
