August 2026 Job Summary Provides bookkeeping and administrative support to maintain an organized and efficient school office. Supports the principal, staff, students, and families while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with procedures. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping Manage school and activity accounts, deposits, and financial records Reconcile accounts and prepare reports Process payroll and maintain accurate financial documents Ensure proper handling and tracking of funds Monitor budget and keep principal informed of financial status Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices Communicate with vendors and track deliveries Verify and enter financial data Secretarial & Administrative Duties Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and answering phone calls professionally Communicate routine and sensitive information with discretion Notify the principal or designee of unusual or urgent situations Distribute mail and manage office correspondence Maintain office supplies and inventory Maintain student and staff records, including attendance Support daily office operations and communication Additional Duties Maintain organized filing systems Assist with reports and clerical tasks Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned by principal or finance office Qualifications Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting practices Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Proficiency in office software and financial systems Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and education Health and retirement benefits
