Schedule:
Full-Time Monday through Friday Saturday mornings Approximately 40-48 hours per week About Our Family We are a hardworking family based in Richfield, North Carolina. Between raising our children, supporting an elderly parent, operating a growing business, and preparing for the arrival of a new baby, life stays busy and active. We are looking for a dependable, caring, organized, and upbeat Family Assistant to become an important part of our family's daily life. This is more than a typical job. We hope to find someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, takes pride in keeping things organized, and wants to build a long-term relationship with a family that values trust, kindness, loyalty, and dependability. The right person will help support both our household and an elderly family member who resides in a retirement community in Davidson. Work Locations This position will primarily be split between two locations: Our family home in Richfield, NC An independent retirement community in Davidson, NC Reliable transportation is required, as duties will involve regular travel between both locations. ResponsibilitiesFamily & Household Support Light housekeeping and household upkeep Laundry and folding clothes Household organization and tidying Running errands and grocery pickup Appointment scheduling and coordination Meal planning and preparation of nutritious home-cooked meals Helping keep family routines organized and running smoothly Assisting with day-to-day household needs Miscellaneous tasks as needed Senior Companion Support Visiting and checking in on an elderly family member Providing companionship and social interaction Helping coordinate appointments and daily needs Occasional transportation assistance when needed Serving as an additional layer of support and communication for the family Family Support Helping maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming home environment Assisting with occasional family-related tasks involving our children Being a dependable extra set of hands when needed Home Cooking & Meal Preparation One of the most valuable skills for this position is a love of cooking and preparing nutritious home-style meals. Our family places a high value on healthy, home-cooked food. With a busy household, growing children, a pregnant mother-to-be, and demanding work schedules, having someone who enjoys preparing wholesome meals would make a meaningful difference in our daily lives.
