GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Successful applicant must possess, meet, or exceed the following criteria: Two-year degree in Business or Accounting preferred Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills Internet Processing Capabilities Organizational and time management skills Proficient use of Microsoft products, including Word and Excel Sensitive to confidential material Preference given to those with prior work experience in an office setting Responsibilities Answer and direct phone calls Power School application with student information to be kept up to date Provide general support to visitors Use of financial software LINQ and EPES for school accounting Preparation of school Purchase Orders Preparation of regularly scheduled financial reports Develop and maintain a filing system Update and maintain office policies and procedures Order office supplies and research new suppliers that may offer better price points Monitors school allotment budgets to fully utilize allocations without overspending Submit and reconcile expense reports on a monthly basis Act as the point of contact for purchasing (accounts payable) and money collections (accounts receivable) Responsible for processing deposits and check writing Maintains records of school orders and inventory and follows up with vendors on shipment and delivery Reports to principal to handle requests and queries relating to school business Reports to district finance officer relating to school finance
