DARE COUNTY SCHOOLS
Title:
Administrative Assistant Reports to: Accountability Director
Term:
11 Months / Pay Grade 59
Responsibilities:
Provide PSU data entry, management, and reporting as required by the state testing program. Use NCDPI files to verify test results. Provide data for local reports and produce Historic Audits. Create Access applications for analyzing data and generating local reports. Manage ordering, receiving, and returning of all testing materials. Upload online test results to produce state testing results. Verify that all state test scores are uploaded to Infinite Campus Coordinate reporting of each school's status/compliance for state accountability results. Correct errors/warnings from NCDPI Data Collection Status Viewer Maintain testing equipment inventory. Manage historical student records for the school system. Route phone calls appropriately and provide customer service. Provide support as an administrative assistant for the Director of Accountability. Maintain hard and computer files for federal, local, and state funds. Maintain time/travel forms for processing to payroll and accounts payable each month for payment. Provide assistance with tracking budgets and reports Type, process, code, and maintain purchase orders and process bills to accounts payable. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Abilities:
High School Diploma and five years of experience in an administrative office, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, is preferred. Training or experience in the use of Microsoft Office Products preferred. Knowledge of data management operations for Testing programs. Knowledge of procedural requirements applicable to Testing programs. Knowledge of Testing Code of Ethics. Ability to establish and maintain supportive relationships with Testing staff, Child Nutrition staff, Exceptional Children staff, and ESL staff.
