In-office Typical Day in the Life Provide administrative support to the tax department to support efficiency, organization, and client service. Process and assemble tax returns, extensions, e‑filings, and tax organizers. Prepare, proofread, and format correspondence and client documents. Maintain accurate databases and reports, including new client setup, project tracking, and due date reporting. Collaborate with team members to provide backup and overflow support as needed. Communicate professionally with partners, managers, and staff. Utilize tax and accounting software to complete a wide range of administrative tasks. Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned. Follow training guides, asking appropriate questions when clarification is needed. Provide backup support to the front desk and other departments when needed. Maintain regular, predictable in‑office attendance and meet established deadlines. Performs mail services for staff and Partners. Delivers and routes interoffice mail. Assists with facility management for the Fargo office. Coordinates runner activities and ensures all deliveries are done in a timely manner. Coordinates mailroom equipment. Works with vendors in person and on the phone. Assists with other deparmtents as needed. Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Who You Are You have a High School Diploma and 2 years of past administrative support experience. You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, work environment. You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet. You can quickly prioritize and organize your work to complete tasks of an immediate nature. You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality. You are proficient in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Word, Outlook, DocuSign, Teams and Adobe Acrobat. Power BI and Quickbooks experience is a plus. You are exceptionally detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills - reviewing communications and fixing errors is a task you love! You love collaborating and contributing to being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision. You will work overtime as needed. This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
