Job Description

Job Overview Columbian Village Apartments is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to help support the daily operations of our multifamily housing office. Work hours for this role are 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, multitasking, and helping keep office operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing friendly and professional customer service to tenants and visitors Answering phones and assisting with general office inquiries Assisting with accounts receivable tasks, including rent collection support Helping manage and maintain the property waiting list Assisting with preparation of the monthly community newsletter Filing, organizing, and maintaining office records in compliance with HUD standards and property policies Assisting with notices, correspondence, and general administrative duties Monitoring office flow and helping maintain organized operations Supporting management with day-to-day office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, professional, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with management Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a busy office environment General understanding of accounts receivable processes Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, required Prior administrative and customer service experience required
