As our Fiber Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our network, engineering, and construction teams—acting as the connective tissue that ensures nothing slips through the cracks. This is not a passive administrative role. The ideal candidate is confident managing up, anticipating needs, and bringing structure to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders. What You'll Do Partner closely with management and construction teams to organize, track, and move engineering and construction projects forward Own project tracking systems, including creating and maintaining scheduling spreadsheets, reports, and status updates Keep leadership organized and accountable by proactively following up on deadlines, deliverables, and priorities Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation within Quickbase Track, order, and manage inventory of network materials to ensure projects stay on schedule Coordinate contractor compliance by obtaining and tracking certificates of insurance for all projects Manage and maintain detailed records, including permits, project documentation, and materials tracking Provide general administrative and data entry support as needed What You Bring A natural ability to

  • —you're comfortable keeping multiple supervisors organized, informed, and on track Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and follow-through The ability to prioritize and re-prioritize in a fast-moving environment with competing deadlines Confidence working independently while maintaining high productivity Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Qualifications Proven experience in office administration, bookkeeping, or accounting support; familiarity with project cost tracking or job costing Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred A minimum of 2 years' administrative/office support experience is required.
Must possess strong computer and typing skills. Applicants must be proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to multitask, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail, demanding work schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and some weekends. Good communication skills are essential, as is a cooperative attitude toward coworkers, customers and contractors Ability to interact with contractors and field teams, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with insurance and safety standards. Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced working environment, especially when dealing with time sensitive issues Ability to complete assigned tasks having high productivity with minimal to no supervision. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR Must pass a background check and drug test IND123
