Job Description:
Ready to jump into a role where no two days are the same? A busy Dover-based firm is looking for a Personal Injury Legal Assistant who enjoys keeping cases moving, supporting attorneys, and staying connected with clients every step of the way.
Location:
Dover, NH Hours:
Full Time & Onsite Direct Hire Pay:
$25.00-28.00/hr
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing legal documents like motions, objections, and correspondence Assisting with discovery and organizing case files Filing paperwork in State and Federal courts (must be comfortable with e-filing systems) Communicating with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel via phone and email Supporting attorneys with trial prep and hearing materials Managing and reviewing medical records for case use
What They're Looking For:
Experience with personal injury cases and working with claims adjusters Skilled in gathering and organizing medical evidence Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines Familiarity with court rules, discovery timelines, and trial prep Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and administrative skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and NetDocuments (a plus!)
