Under general direction, provides administrative support including but not limited to operating weigh scale, running reports, creating and receiving requisitions in Oracle. Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): Ordering of office and operations supplies working with other personnel to ensure proper supplies are ordered Preps and signs manifests from deliveries and gets them ready for scanning into IDP for matching with scale tickets in CORE software. Answer office phones, answering customer and vendor questions and/or transfer to appropriate personnel. Opens and distributes mail and meters outgoing mail. Create and distributes interoffice memos. Regular contact with local management and various personnel from Corporate office. Support cross-functional teams. Regular contact with all customers and vendors Greets customers and vendors arriving and make sure they are directed to correct person. Create requisitions, receive requisitions, and support month end processes Works with office personnel and helps where needed. Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Work Environment:
Ability to regularly access and use general office equipment including phones, computers, copiers, etc. Must be able to work in a busy, often distracting work environment that is generally climate controlled. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds unassisted on an occasional basis. Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
Education, Experience and Skills:
Education:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
Experience:
Experience 3+ years of providing administrative support including generating reports, and data entry. Experience with an ERP system Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word Experience using Oracle (v.12 or later)
Skills:
Ability to review or proofread work for accuracy; complete specific projects or assignments independently; concentrate on tasks at hand, even in distracting work environments. Ability to efficiently manage own time, activities and resources. Identify specific activities required to accomplish objectives, rank them in order of importance, and coordinate and act to achieve desired results. Ability to prioritize complex multiple activities and projects. Recommend improvements to prevent re-emergence of resolved issues. Ability to function independently; resolve problems without direction. Ability to gather and analyze facts and data and draw correct inferences from the information. Weigh alternatives and presents logical solutions to problems. Ability to cooperate with others on projects, which require input from various sources. Ability to lift to 25 pounds, 15% of the time.
