Administrative Assistant Helping Hands Outreach - 4.5 Manchester, NH Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Filing High school diploma or GED Client services Organizational skills Full Job Description Position Summary The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily administrative operations of Helping Hands Outreach Ministries, Inc., supporting both the Temporary Housing Program (Roussel House) and the Transitional Housing Program (Gendron House) . This role ensures efficiency and professional client interactions that reflect the mission and values of this Christian-based organization. Key Responsibilities Assist day-to-day office operations to ensure an organized, professional, and welcoming environment, to include but not limited to the following: Answering incoming calls Taking messages and relaying them Answering the front door Collecting mail along with any deliveries Keeping record of office inventory and placing orders as needed Data entry Assist the Executive Director with administrative tasks, including document preparation, scanning, and filing Assist the Case Manager, as needed Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with federal and state privacy regulations (CFR 42 & CFR 45) Participate in staff meetings, team training, and supervisory sessions Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment Support agency operations by adhering to all policies, procedures, and the professional code of ethics Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of experience in an office or administrative role. Engaged in their local faith community Commitment to the Corporations Mission and Vision Have a heart for serving men who have experienced homelessness and are sincere about getting their lives back on track. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong general computer literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Professional demeanor with clear personal and professional boundaries. Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality and ethical standards in client services.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
