Construction Administrative Assistant Premier Personnel Group, Inc. - 3.8 Cranford, NJ Job Details Temporary | Full-time $28 - $33 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication Microsoft Office Specialist Spreadsheets Filing Schedule management Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) Certified Administrative Professional Data entry Typing Productivity software Full Job Description Our client, a HVAC contractor, is seeking a temporary construction admin to cover for maternity leave. This is a temporary full-time position (approximately 7 moth duration) working with our mechanical estimating team and requires attention to detail, prioritizing work to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple demands. Prior experience with a construction or HVAC service company is strongly preferred but not required. Bid & Proposal Support Help assemble bid proposals and scope letters Format and organize proposal documents for submission to general contractors Ensure all required bid forms and attachments are included and completed accurately Document Management Maintain bid folders, plans, specs, and revisions Track addenda and ensure updates are incorporated into estimates Maintain centralized filing structure for active and archived bids Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Track and compare incoming pricing Assist in leveling bids and organizing vendor proposals Administrative Support Maintain bid logs and tracking systems Prepare spreadsheets and cost summaries Assist with scheduling and deadline tracking for bid submissions Attend various meetings Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to enhance customer relationships through high quality communication Must have excellent time management skills Self-motivated, quick thinker, ability to multi-task Can identify difficult situations and use proper judgment to handle the situation quickly without direct supervision Candidate must possess strong computer and typing skills and demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft Ofice Suite 360.
