DESK ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR SUMMARY
The Leaguers is seeking a Front Desk Engagement Coordinator for its 1189 E. Broad Street, Elizabeth, NJ location.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Front Desk Engagement Coordinator is responsible for both general and clerical tasks within the center. This position involves general office organization, maintaining files and record-keeping systems, answering phones, managing communication systems, monitoring staff coverage completing and disseminating manpower logs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer telephone, route calls, take messages and respond to routine inquiries. Maintain all telephone and message logs. Maintaining the general upkeep of office area premises. Carry out routine checks to ensure the safety and security of the facility. Ensure staff complete manpower Logs and forward them to the Central Office daily. Prepare outgoing mail. Distribute all incoming mail. Collect, duplicate, and maintain a copy of timesheets before inter-office mail to the Payroll Administrator. Provide clerical, center, and staff support to Site Supervisor as needed. Prepare orders for materials and supplies. Prepare general and confidential correspondence as requested. Maintain files according to established office procedures. Perform data input and word processing activities as required and or requested. Be responsible for having materials duplicated in support of Site activities. Participate in staff meetings and training related to job responsibilities as needed/required. Participate in Pre-Service and In-Service training. Carry out goals, policies, and activities designed to implement the office system. Keep all records concerning children, families, and staff members confidential (i.e., Incident/Accident Reports/ and Complaints from Parents. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Maintain absolute confidentiality. Engage effectively with varied ethnic, cultural & social groups. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, Associate Degree preferred Proficient use of Computer (Word and Excel)
